As we begin a new term of youth activities we would
appreciate if you would remember us as you pray.
"Devote yourselves to Prayer, being watchful and thankful"
(Colossians 4:2)
Give thanks to God for a fantastic youth
weekend at Castlewellan Castle, Co Down. The weather was amazing & the
outdoor pursuits were great fun! Definitely one of our best weekends
this year.
As our youth leaders meet to plan, pray and
prepare for the summer term pray that the Holy Spirit will inspire and
excite them!
Pray that our youth leaders will feel
equipped and energised at the weekends after what can be a busy week of
college or work.
Give thanks for the amazing weather &
the opportunity to get out and about with the young people for sports
and games.
As Karen prepares to leave her role as Youth
& Family Worker in June, pray that she will use her time left wisely,
preparing the way for whoever may take over.
Please pray for Karen, Howard, Kelton
& Eleanor as they look for suitable rental accommodation in South Dublin
for the next 6 months - l year, close to school for the children and
work for Howard.
Give thanks to God for a fantastic
Easter Camp during the holidays. It was
amazing how such a great team of new and old more experienced leaders
came together to make this camp happen (many of our regular leaders
where not available). Pray that God will bless them for their
willingness to serve the children and share the Good News of Easter with
them.
Remember to give thanks for the
fantastic group of Youth Club kid's who meet on a Saturday night, 5 -
6:30pm. We have had so much fun with them and have enjoyed their
enthusiasm. Pray for wisdom, as each week we have the opportunity
to share something from God's Word with them before they go home.
"I pray that out of his glorious riches He
(God) may strengthen you with power through His Spirit in your inner
being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith."
(Ephesians 3:16&17)
